Cyril R. Fisher

Cyril R. “Sonny” Fisher of Hull passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at age 82. Originally from Dorchester, he lived in Hull since 1972. After serving in the Army, he worked on a fishing boat with his Dad and then as a roofer at Harvard University for 30 years before retiring. In summers, Sonny enjoyed lobstering and was on the water every day.

The beloved husband of the late Patricia A. “Pat” (Ryan) Fisher, Sonny was the loving father of Denise A. Lettiere and her husband Richard of Belmont, Carolyn M. Fisher and her husband Andrew Greene of Marshfield and Erin F. Gibbons and her husband Kevin of Hull; dear Papa of Jordan, Cali and Ayla; brother of Lillian Waite of ME, Mary Dickson of Sudbury, Bernadette “Bunny” Alexander of So. Weymouth, Ann Rams of Wareham and Deborah Wilson of Braintree; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, December 14 from 3:00 to 7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 8:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Ann’s Church 208 Samoset Ave, Hull. Burial is at Hull Village Cemetery.
