Charles M. Deans

Charles M. Deans of Weymouth passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at age 76. Born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, he lived in Weymouth for the past 32 years. In 1969 he began working with the Naval Historical Center, Detachment Boston, ending his career as Director of the Restoration and Repair of the USS Constitution when he retired in 2003.

The beloved husband of Elizabeth (LaLond) Deans, Charles was the loving father of Lisa Deans-Yee and her husband Sheldon of Quincy, Brian J. Kowalski of Weymouth, Joann E. Perlo of Hanover and Kevin F. Kowalski of Braintree and is also survived by 12 grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, June 14 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Cremation will follow.
