Angela A. (Stracco) Galante

Angela A. (Stracco) Galante of Quincy passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at age 75. Born in Quincy where she was raised and educated, she lived in Braintree for 48 years and the past 5 years in Weymouth. She worked as a benefits coordinator for State Street Bank for over 25 years. The beloved daughter of Serafina “Lena” Stracco of Quincy and the late Enrico “Bill” Stracco, Angela was the loving wife of Nicholas C. Galante; dear mother of Ronald N. Galante and his wife Cheryl of Marshfield and Denise M. Caruso of Braintree; mother-in-law of Eric Caruso of Braintree; devoted “Noninna” of Nicolette, Drew, Adam, Lauren, Anna and Madelyn; sister of Paul Stracco of Brewster and the late Rico Stracco; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Sunday, October 15 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery.
