Madonna M. (Mace) Lyons

Madonna M. (Mace) Lyons of Norwood passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at age 65. As a Boston (Mission Hill) native she lived in Hyde Park for most of her adult life and was a loving wife, mother, and nana who always put others before herself. The beloved wife of the late Walter J. Lyons, Jr., Madonna was the loving mother of Walter J. Lyons III and his wife Alicia of Weymouth, Charles Lyons of Norwood and Eric Lyons of Boston; devoted nana of Ayden Lyons, Cameron Lyons and Lily Lyons; beloved daughter of the late Gerard and Frances (Woodward) Mace; dear sister of James Mace and his wife Lorayne of S. Yarmouth, Patricia “Patsy” Scannell of Norwood, Margaret “Peggy” Gramer of Tyngsboro, Linda Sweeney of East Bridgewater, Gerard Mace and his wife Jean of Norwood, Thomas Mace and his wife Liz of Missouri, Debra Butler of Norwood, Maryellen Mace of Norwood and the late Nancy Kelly of Weymouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Thursday, February 15th from 4:00 to 6:00PM followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center.
