Gail M. (McQuinn) Freel

Gail M. (McQuinn) Freel of Quincy passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at age 66. A lifelong Quincy resident, she worked as a human resources manager. Very active in the Houghs Neck community, she was the president of the Garden Club for many years and was a member of the Seaside Social Club, the Quincy Bowling League and the Houghs Neck Congregational Church where she served on the Rev. M. Alicia Corea Student Fund Committee.

The daughter of Lorraine M. (LaForest) McQuinn of Quincy and the late Francis G. “Lefty” McQuinn, Gail was the loving wife of the late James B. Freel, QFD, Ret.; beloved mother of Melissa McKeen and her husband Peter of Norton, Jacqueline Prejsnar and her husband James of Attleboro and Michael Freel and his wife Melissa of Stoughton; dear grandmother of Bradford McKeen, Douglas McKeen, Savannah Prejsnar, Quinn Prejsnar, Abigale Freel and Alanna Freel; beloved sister of Neil McQuinn, George McQuinn and the late Mark McQuinn, all of Quincy; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Sunday, June 10th from 2:00 to 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Monday there will be a Funeral Service at 11:00AM at Houghs Neck Congregational Church 300 Manet Ave. Quincy. Private burial will be held at a later date.
