Ronald Hugh Van Bibber

Ronald H. Van Bibber of Weymouth passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at age 75. Originally from Quincy, he had worked for 20 years as a crane operator for Antonelli Ironworks until it closed in 1989. Family meant everything to Ron. He was the beloved husband of Joan L. (Nigro) Van Bibber; loving father of Susan Harris and her husband Gregory of Walpole, James Van Bibber and his wife Jodi of Carver, Thomas Van Bibber and his wife Tracey of Weymouth; dear grandfather of Jessica Harris, Jennifer Harris, Courtney Harris, Michael Van Bibber, Hannah Van Bibber, Gwen Van Bibber and Leah Van Bibber; son-in-law of Jennie Nigro of Weymouth; beloved brother of Judy Parker of Carver, Gail Harding of Quincy and the late James Van Bibber and Norma Bloom; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Thursday, January 10 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Friday there will be a Funeral Service at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
