Joan R. (King) Golden

Joan R. (King) Golden of Quincy passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 90. Raised and educated in Quincy, Joan was a Telephone Operator for New England Telephone, and was part of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Joan was the beloved wife of Peter T. Golden, Jr.; loving mother of Carol Ball and her husband Jay of Randolph, Thomas Golden and his wife Stacey of Milton, and Sheila Golden of Quincy; devoted grandmother of John Ball, Peter Ball, Elizabeth Golden, and David Golden; dear sister of the late John King and the late Anna Mae Fay; Joan is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Saturday, September 10th from 8:30AM-9:30AM. At 10:00AM there will be a Mass at St. John’s Church. Burial is private.
