Jerry Allen Hitchcox

Jerry Allen Hitchcox of Estill Springs, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the age of 72. Jerry was born in Chattanooga, TN, to the late J.D. and Cora (Essex) Hitchcox. He was a Navy Veteran and was also a retired Federal Fire Chief for the Department of Defense.

Jerry was the beloved husband of Patricia (Morrison) Hitchcox of Estill Springs, TN; loving father of Jerry Hitchcox Jr., Joshua Hitchcox, and Christopher Hitchcox; doting grandfather of Remington Hitchcox and Kyra Miller; devoted brother of Ronald Hitchcox, Jackie Hitchcox, Peggy Walls, Connie Bates, and Lamar Howard; loving step-brother of Danny Matlock and Ronnie Matlock; dear brother-in-law of Cory MacIsaac and Anthony Anastasio.
