Agnes T. (Schwemin) Petitti of W. Quincy passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at age 94. A lifelong Quincy resident, she was employed by Quincy Public Schools and was a member of St. Mary’s Ladies Sodality for many years. Her favorite times for the past 45 years were spent with her family and friends at their summer house on White Horse Beach.

The beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Petitti, Agnes was the loving mother of Joseph J. Petitti, Jr. and his wife Ginny of Norwell, Thomas P. Petitti and his wife Susan A. of Quincy, Kathleen M. Kelly and her husband Terry of Quincy and the late Daniel Petitti; devoted grandmother of Jason, Meaghan, Jennifer, Thomas, Jr, Sean and Craig; great-grandmother of Olivia, Joey, Hunter, Jaxon and Charlotte; dear sister of Joan M. Gallagher of Bowie, MD and the late John A. Schwemin, Paul D. Schwemin and Marion Cowen; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Thursday, June 16 from 3:00 to 7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home ay 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Church 115 Crescent St. W. Quincy. Burial is at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
