Aiche Hassan of Quincy, MA, and loving wife of 50 years to the late Abdo S. Hassan and mother of their five children; Samuel, Michael (Patricia), Yasmine (Fred), Humoodie and the late Fatima Hassan. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren (Michael Jr., Zach, Alex, Marisa, Fred, Ivan, Andre and Lilly), and her two brothers Mohammed and Ahmed Zahara. Born in Lebanon, she and her two brothers immigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada, circa 1945. Upon meeting her future husband circa 1955, she moved to and lived in Quincy the rest of her life.
A very devoted mother and wife, she loved gardening and especially cooking. She used her cooking talents at every family gathering and while working at the former Ma’s Lunch located outside the Fore River Shipyard.
Funeral services will be held at Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy, MA, on Wednesday, February 16th from 9 – 11 am followed by a burial will be at Pine Hills Cemetery, 815 Willard Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
