Alice E. (Lucier) Caobelli of Quincy passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at age 99. A lifelong Quincy resident, she was a Red Sox fan, a member of the St. Mary’s Senior Citizens Club, and enjoyed playing cards with friends. She worked for a short time for Tubular Rivet & Steel Co. in Quincy, but her life was devoted to her family.

The beloved wife of the late Primo L. Caobelli, Alice was the loving mother of Paul L. Caobelli of Quincy, Ann R. Anderson of Jersey City, NJ, Alice M. Paccioretti and her husband Edward of Quincy and Mary T. Campbell of Brooksville, FL; mother-in-law of the late Stephen Anderson and David Campbell; sister of the late Joseph, Paul, Bernard, John, and Miriam; and is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 20 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Church 115 Crescent St. W. Quincy. Burial is at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Donations in Alice’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Church.
