Obituaries

Allan Larson of Quincy passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at age 60. Raised and educated in Quincy he worked for 10 years at the Fore River Shipyard and for the past 28 years as an Iron Worker for the Iron Workers Union Local 7.

The beloved husband of Susan M. (Greene) Larson to whom he was married for 38 years, Allan was the loving father of Allan P. Larson of Nashville, TN, Kelly M. Kane of Quincy and Katie A. Milone of Weymouth; dear grandfather of Zachary, Hannah, Joseph, Isabella, Nathan, Matthew and Ariana, with whom he enjoyed many fun times; beloved brother of Barbara Mullen of Quincy, Louis Larson of Hull, Maureen Gill of Scituate, Wayne Larson of Quincy, Ronald Larson of Quincy, Joyce Larson of Plymouth and the late Larry Larson; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 7 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00AM. Cremation will follow.
