We enjoyed seeing Ambrose these last few summers when he came to S. Portland, ME for the reunion of his Coast Guard Ice Breaker, the ‘Eastwind’. He told many stories of his tenure in the Coast Guard as well as his early career as safety inspector for oil companies and the State of Massachusetts. He was always a joy to see, gracious and enthusiastic about everything and everybody around him. We had shared acquaintances and he kept us informed of what was going on in Braintree, Quincy and Wareham. And what a wonderful difference he made in the life of my stepmother, Barbara. Godspeed, Ambrose.

Carol, Lori and Kathy, I am so sorry to you three sisters on the loss of your beloved dad. He was a wonderful father to all of you and a wonderful grandfather to Mark and Mathew. And Bill and Tony could not have asked for a nicer father-in-law. As for me, I always enjoyed being in his company. It goes without saying how much he will be missed. Love Angel
