Angelo Mattina, Jr. of Whitman passed away suddenly on November 28, 2018 at age 61. Raised and educated in Weymouth, he had also lived in Quincy and had worked for General Dynamics. He later worked as a house painter and welder. The loving son of the late Angelo and Marie Mattina, he was the beloved brother of Michael A. Mattina of Holbrook, Linda Mattina and family of Falmouth, Anthony Mattina and his family of Weymouth and the late Carol Ann Mattina and family; loving nephew of Josephine Mattina and family of Quincy and the late Charles Mattina and family of Weymouth. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Friday, December 7 from 4:00 to 7:00PM immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Burial is private.
