Obituaries

Ann K. (McNeill) Brown of Quincy passed away at South Shore Hospital on Monday, July 25, 2011 at age 76. A homemaker, she was a lifelong resident and graduated from Quincy High in 1952. Ann had previously worked for New England Telephone and for many years as a secretary at the Fore River Shipyard. She loved movies and going out to dinner.

The beloved wife of Eugene T. Brown, Ann was the loving mother of Kathleen M. Cristoferi of So. Weymouth, Michael E. Brown of Quincy and Kevin J. Brown of Canton; dear grandmother of Susan M. Sutton of Hudson, NH, Lauren J. and Kayla M. Cristoferi of So. Weymouth and the late Jennifer M. Cristoferi; great grandmother of Ryan C. Sutton; beloved sister of Mary C. Walsh of Weymouth and the late Irene T. Holmes, Florence “Marie” Murphy, James, Urban, John and Joseph McNeill; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence McNeill.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 28 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial will be at Blue Hill Cemetery.
