Woods, Ann Marie (Morris)
Age 71, of Whitman, MA, passed away on December 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Woods; devoted daughter of the late John F. Morris and Martha (Guest) Morris; loving sister-in-law of the late Patricia Morris; adored sister of John F. Morris of Hanover; cherished aunt of Kate Joyce and her husband Dan of Kingston, Stacey Diedrich and her husband Curt of Hingham, and Colleen Morris of Hanover, and great-aunt of John and Anna Joyce and Alex and Will Diedrich. Ann Marie also leaves many dear cousins and friends including her treasured “Girls”.
Ann Marie was born in Dorchester and raised in the Ronan Park neighborhood. She graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston and was employed by the United States Postal Service where she met her soulmate, “the King” Tom. Ann Marie and Tom were inseparable and enjoyed travel, especially to Las Vegas with their friends, parties, going to the movies, playing games, watching football, and spending as much time as possible with family and friends. You could always count on Ann Marie and Tom to be the last to leave any event. Ann Marie exemplified a life of love, kindness, and generosity, and one could not find a more dedicated and supportive wife, daughter, sister, aunt, or friend. She was a positive presence in countless lives, and it was a true joy to be with her. We will forever miss Ann Marie and be forever thankful for her.
