Annie S. (Smith) Hurry of Quincy passed away at Pope Nursing Home on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at age 87. She lived in Millis for a time, but for most of her life in Quincy. A graduate of Katharine Gibbs Business School, Annie worked as a secretary for many years at Taylor Instruments in Needham.
The daughter of the late Roy M. and Annie (Croghan) Smith, Annie was the beloved sister of the late Roy M. Smith, Jr., Stephen T. Smith, William G. Smith, Gordon W. Smith and Sadie Smith and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service Wednesday, November 1st at 11:00AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Burial is at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie’s memory may be made to the Pope Nursing Home Activities Fund. 140 Webb St. Weymouth, MA 02188.
