Obituaries

Anthony Valentino, 61, of Quincy passed away at Milton Hospital on Sunday, April 10, 2016 after a long illness. A lifelong Quincy resident, he graduated from Quincy Voc-Tech. He worked for 10 years designing equipment for the handicapped at Ayers Bros. in Quincy and then for 15 years as a repair technician at Stanley Magic Doors. The beloved son of the late Joseph and Irene Valentino, Anthony was the loving brother of Karen Valentino, Susan Valentino, Debbie Valentino, all of Quincy, Irene Turner of Lavonia, NY and the late Charles “Chip” Valentino and Joseph “Joey” Valentino; dear uncle of Patrick, his nephew and buddy, Fred, Shanna, Lynn, Tanya, Adam, Amy and Katie; and is also survived by his former wife and best friend, Jacquelyn (Corbo) Valentino of Quincy who cared for him before his death.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, April 13 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. The celebration of Anthony’s life will continue from 6:30 to 8:00PM at the Fox and Hound Restaurant 123 Sea St. Quincy.
