Obituaries

Anthony Vincent Mina of Quincy, born June 3, 1941, died at home in the company of his loving family on Sunday, December 2, 2018. The beloved husband of Helen E. (Kimball) Mina to whom he was married for 53 years. he is also survived by his children, Diane Medeirous and her husband Frank of Lakeville, Helen E. Mina and Jacqueline E. Mina, both of Quincy; his grandchildren Kimberly and Kevin Medeirous and Toni E. Mina; his loving pet cat Oreo; his sisters Joan Panarelli and Sandra Mitchell and her husband Robert, all of Quincy; his brother Robert Mina and his wife Susan of Hingham; his brother-in-law Harold Kimball and his wife Carol of Quincy. He was the uncle of Harold David Kimball of NM and Susan Perry and her husband Thomas of Londonderry, NH and several other nieces and nephews.

Anthony was employed by the US Post Office in North Quincy and retired in 2006 after 30 years as a letter carrier. He then worked for the Quirk Auto dealership as for many years as a driver. He was an avid collector of 50’s music, records and music sheets.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, December 5 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1015 Sea St. Quincy. Burial is at Mount Wollaston Cemetery.
