Obituaries

Barbara A. (Spencer) Deady, 68, of Weymouth died September 29 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. The loving wife of the late John E. Deady Sr., Barbara is the beloved mother of John Jr. and his late wife Noreen of Weymouth; Robert and his wife Jackie of West Bridgewater; Susan Beatty and her husband Robert of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Deborah Sewell and her husband Robert of Weymouth; James and his wife Karen of Weymouth; Brenda Mellor of Randolph; Michael and his wife Bekki of Taunton; and is also survived by 17 grandchildren: Kelly, Crystal, Courtney, Jessica, Jimmy, Joe, Kayla, Lauren, Alanna, Allison, Jeffrey, Carolyn, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Samuel, Jackson and Benjamin; her brothers Charles “Butch” Spencer of West Bridgewater; Larry Spencer of Barnstable and the late Jackie Regaldo and Warren Spencer; and many other loving family members and friends. Barbara enjoyed going to Foxwoods, crocheting, bingo and spending time with family.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 3 from 1:00 to 5:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 10:00am, followed by the burial at Old North Cemetery, N. Weymouth.
