Obituaries

Barbara A. (Parker) McCollum of Quincy passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the age of 85. Born in Quincy where she was raised and educated, she has lived in Quincy most of her life. She was also a resident of Auburn for 16 years. The beloved wife of the late Stanley F. McCollum, Barbara was the loving daughter of the late Fred A. and Catherine E. (Callahan) Parker; the beloved mother of Barbara A. Sharma of Auburn, Debra M. Robinson and her husband Robert of Leicester and the late Ann Marie McCollum who passed at 2 1/2 yrs of age in 1955; dearest grandmother of Kristin and Robert Sharma, Jennifer Lynch and her husband Michael, Jeffrey and Jessica Robinson; great  grandmother of Ryan and Mason Lynch; sister of Albert Parker of Braintree, and the late Fred A. Parker, Lettie E. Smith, and Elizabeth M. Psaros.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at 10:00AM in the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM in Holy Trinity Parish, Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament 1000 Sea Street, Houghs Neck, Quincy. Family and friends are invited. Burial will follow at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
