Barbara J. (Smart) King-McCormick of Quincy passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Braintree Manor Nursing Home at the age of 85. Born in Dover, NH where she was raised and educated, Barbara lived most of her life in Quincy. She was a homemaker who loved to read and follow baseball.

The beloved wife of the late Jerome McCormick and the late Henry King, she was the loving mother of Barbara Meier of Braintree, Cathleen Centrella of Weymouth and the late Dara Cochrane, dear grandmother of Brian Meier, Richard Meier and Jennifer Petry and great grandmother of Mackenzie Petry, Colby Petry and Jake Centrella.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, April 29 at 11:00am at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Ocean St. Marshfield. Family and friends are invited.
