Barbara L. (Ekbom) DeCelle of Quincy passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at age 76. A homemaker, she was a lifelong Quincy resident. The beloved wife of John E. DeCelle, Barbara was the loving mother of Cheryl DeCelle of Quincy, John DeCelle and his wife Joanne of Randolph, Susan Stewart and her husband Robert of Brockton, Scott DeCelle and his husband Mark Kilduff of Bridgewater and Brian DeCelle and his husband Orlando Rivera of Brockton; daughter of the late Raymond and Rita Ekbom; dear sister of Raymond Ekbom of Quincy; loving grandmother of Jaimie and Craig Stewart and several step-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 1 from 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery.
