Obituaries

Brantizio J. “Brandi” Marini passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at age 91. A lifelong Quincy resident, he served in the Coast Guard in WWII and worked as a machinist for Townsend Co., formerly Tubular Rivet. Brandi was the loving husband of Rose J. (Agathopoulos) Marini, to whom he was married for 64 years, beloved father of Amarjit Khalsa and her husband Gurujot and the late Margaret Sears; father-in-law of Douglas Sears; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Friday, February 12 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Saturday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at St. Mary’s Church 115 Crescent St. W. Quincy. Burial with Military Honors is at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
