Bruce R. Orlando of Quincy, formerly of Hingham, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at age 77. Born in Boston, he grew up in Quincy and Weymouth, graduating from Weymouth High school and University of Southern Illinois. He worked as a property manager, a distributor for Kluewer Book Publishing and also an instructor for Woods Auto School.
The beloved husband of Joanne M. (Keefe) Orlando, Bruce was the loving father of Loretta Orlando and her fiancé, Sean Brinks of Kinnelon, NJ and the late Amy Orlando and grandfather of Luke Brinks.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 17 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday there will be a Funeral Service at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Burial is at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
