Catherine M. “Kay” Sangiolo of Quincy Point passed away at John Adams Healthcare Center on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at age of 91. Born in Quincy, she was a lifelong resident. In her younger years she was a hairdresser before coming back to help her parents at their liquor store on Washington St. A loving daughter and sister who lived for her family, Kay dedicated her life to caring for her ailing parents and later for her brother, She was an incredible cook and friend to all. She is survived by her beloved brother Anthony Sangiolo and her friends Paul and Jane Flynn and their children of Marshfield.

There will be a visiting hour on Monday, August 23 starting at 8:30am at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church. Family and friends are invited. Burial will be at Mount Wollaston Cemetery.
