Claire F. (Richiell) Kenyon MacInnis, a 40-year resident of Quincy passed away at South Shore Hospital on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at age 79. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in South Boston and moved to Abington after marriage to her first husband, the late Robert Kenyon, Jr. Ten years later they moved to Weymouth and after Robert’s death, Claire moved to Quincy and in 1971 married Neil G. MacInnis who died in 2007. They enjoyed winters in Sarasota, FL for several years. Claire worked as a dispatcher for an alarm company before retiring and loved Bingo, boating, the beach, “House” and “Jeopardy” and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a former member of the Town River Yacht Club.

Claire was the loving mother of Barry Kenyon of Weymouth, Bruce Kenyon of Rochester, Bradford Kenyon of Plymouth, Lori Sevigny of Rochester, Robin McGuinness of Quincy, Jennifer MacInnis of Marshfield and the late Keith and Brian Kenyon and is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and her brother, Peter Richiell of So. Kingston, RI

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 8 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday, October 18, there will be a Memorial Service at the funeral home at 11:00AM, followed by burial of Claire’s ashes at Pine Hill Cemetery.
