Claire T. (Farren) Doyle of Weymouth passed away at Pope Nursing Home on Friday, October 21, 2011 at age 90. Raised and educated in Dorchester, she lived in No. Weymouth since 1959 and worked as a telephone operator and repairs coordinator for New England Telephone. She was a member of the Pioneers Volunteer Foundation.

The beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Doyle, Claire was the loving mother of Kevin J. Doyle and his wife Louise of Meredith, NH, Maureen MacCallum and her husband Duncan of Portsmouth, NH, Mark J. Doyle of Point Pleasant, NJ, Clarice M. Doliber and her husband Stephen of Hanson and Ellen T. Petersen and her husband Scott of Hanson; dear grandmother of Devin and Nancy Prouty, Aidan and Colm Doyle, Meagan, Gregory and Nathaniel Doliber, Kelly, Claire, James and Joseph Petersen; great grandmother of Caleb and Abigail Prouty.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 24 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM at St. Jerome’s Church 632 Bridge St. No. Weymouth. Burial will be at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
