Clara J. (Piccuito) Nigro of Quincy passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, her 96th birthday. Born in Weymouth where she was raised and educated, she lived in Quincy for 70 years before moving to her daughter’s home in Hanson. A homemaker, she had worked at the Bargain Center and made her family the center of her life.

The beloved wife of the late William A. Nigro, Clara was the cherished mother of William A. Nigro of Middleton, NH, Joyce A. Cloutier of Attleboro, Debora Chaves of Hanson and the late Thomas A. Nigro. One of 9 siblings she is survived by her brother Ronald Piccuito of Weymouth, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Friday, December 28 from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Quincy.
