Daniel T. Sullivan, 87, of Quincy passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at South Shore Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Boston where he was raised and educated, Daniel lived in Quincy for 30 years and worked for the MBTA. An Army Veteran of WWII, he served in a tank crew of the Occupation Forces in Germany. He reenlisted to serve in the Air Force in the Korean Conflict where he was a jet engine mechanic. Daniel was the beloved husband of the late June E. (Buckley) Sullivan who passed away on February 8, 2016. He was the loving father of Robert E. Sullivan of Marshfield, Denise McGee of Quincy, Daniel T. Sullivan of MO, Karen A. Celata of Quincy, Kevin Sullivan of Rockland and the late Janet Savage; dear brother of Ina Johnson of Boston; and is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
