David C. Walker of Quincy passed away of Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at age 65. Born in South Boston where he was raised and educated, he lived in Quincy for 30 years. David worked as a pressman for the Boston Globe for 30 years before retiring and was an avid Boston sports fan. The husband of the late Mary G. (Walsh) Walker, he was the loving father of Kelly A. Walker and Patricia M. Walker, both of Quincy; dear grandfather of Jarod Michael Walker and Ava M. Walker; beloved brother of William Walker of FL, Anne Olasz of NH and the late Kathleen McVicker, Mary Farrell, Margaret Hayes, Dorothy, Jackie and Theodore Walker; and his also survived by his nephew Robert Farrell of No. Easton and many other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Friday, December 18 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Saturday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Cremation will follow.
