Obituaries

Debra J. “Debbie” Rowell of Weymouth passed away at Tufts New England Medical Center on Friday, January 8, 2010 at age 42. Born in Quincy, where she lived for many years, she went to the MA Hospital School in Canton and enjoyed bowling.

The beloved daughter of Stephen and Roberta (Lindblom) Rowell of Quincy, Debbie is also survived by her brother Stephen Rowell, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Taunton, her sisters, Wendy Corkery and her husband Thomas of Whitman and Rhonda Wray and her husband Jeremy of Brockton, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center on Tuesday, January 12 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Family and friends are invited. On Wednesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy Point at 10:00am. Burial is in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
