Obituaries

Donald S. Gramazio of Norfolk passed away at Brigham & Women’s Hospital on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at age 59. A Vietnam Veteran, US Army, he was born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, a graduate of Quincy High. Before retiring, Donald had worked as a boilermaker and was a member of the Union Local 29 since 1970. In his spare time he loved golfing and boating and kept his boat at Bay Pointe Marina in Quincy.

The beloved son of Romeo Gramazio of Quincy and Mary (Conway) Gramazio of Brockton, he was the beloved husband of Jean M. Tierney, loving father of Anthony M. Gramazio of Omaha, NB, loving step-father of Kathleen E. Tierney and Matthew J. Tierney, both of Norfolk, beloved brother of Marilyn “Mal” Gaedtke of Pembroke, Janice A. Curtis of No. Attleboro and Cathy M. Kovacs of Verona, WI and dear grandfather of Devon and Lucy Gramazio of Omaha. Donald is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 28 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday there will be a Funeral Service at the funeral home at 10:00am. Cremation will follow.
