Dorothy Agnes (Lynch) Brooks of Plymouth, December 22, 2013.  Beloved wife of the late Harry A. Brooks. She was a loving and spirited mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.  Born in 1921, Dorothy was a long time, proud resident of Dorchester.  Dorothy was also a member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary. The joys in her life were her home and family.  She was the dearly loved mother of Robert Brooks and his wife Judith, Harry “Bill” Brooks and his wife Elaine, Barbara Brooks, Dorothea Tuttle and her husband Lee, Thomas Brooks and his wife Cheryl, Richard Brooks and his wife Karen and Gail McRae and her husband Leo. Dorothy was the proud and loving grandmother to Carrie Brooks, William Brooks, Christine Mulkern, Joseph Bondi, Cheryl Bondi, Stephanie Brown, Andrea O’Brien, Lauren Brennan, Michael Brooks, Patrick Brooks, Olivia Brooks, Katherine Brooks, Amy Brooks, Erica Brooks, Leo James (Jimmy) McRae, Dylan McRae and Tyler McRae and great-grandmother to James Mulkern, Sean Mulkern and Madelyn Brown.  Loving Godmother to niece Noni and her husband Frank Volpe.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass  at 11:30 am at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant St., South Weymouth.
