Douglas W. Perry of Carver, age 69, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 25, with his family at his side. Born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, he graduated from Northeastern University in 1972. Before retiring 4 years ago, Doug worked as an accountant and was a member of the Countryside Golf and Country Club in Naples, FL where he spent his winters.  The beloved life companion of Elizabeth “Betty” Garner, Doug was the loving father of Kimberly April and her husband Jayson of Pembroke, Michael Perry and his wife Stacey of Bridgewater, Samantha Turvey and her husband Justin of Pembroke and Nicholas Perry and his wife Casey of Tyngsborough; dear grandfather of Jeff, Jonathan, Maguire, Autumn, Logan, Mason, Kailee, Ellie, Finn and Will; son of the late William “Captain Bill” and Margaret H. Perry; brother of Bruce Perry and his wife Susan of Whitman, Diane Swan and her husband Steven of Pembroke, Margaret Jane Schneider and her husband Mark of Hanson and the late Robert Perry, Marilyn Demaggio, Ellen Brown and Alexander Perry; brother-in-law of Margaret Perry of Quincy and Stephen Demaggio of Weymouth; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Monday, January 30 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Visiting hours are omitted and burial is private.
