Edna G. (Galicia) Garcia of Quincy passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at age 91. Born in Guatemala, where she was raised and educated, she lived in Quincy since 1976. The beloved wife of the late Guillermo F. Garcia, Edna was the loving mother of Juan Manuel Garcia and his wife Lisette of Spain, Francisco Garcia and his wife Andrea of Guatemala, Patricia Barasadian and her husband John of Weymouth, Juliette Galicia of Boston , Sergio Garcia and his wife Michelle of Quincy and the late Guillermo Garcia; mother-in-law of Elsa Garcia; dear grandmother of Richard, Ann Marie, Alegandro, Juan Manuel, Juan Marcos, Alegandro, Daniel, Andres, Eva, Lucia, Maite, Salvatore, Ava and Alexa.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Thursday, January 5 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Friday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00AM. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Quincy.
