Elaine G. (Tropea) McGlauflin passed away at the age of 93 on September 13, 2021. Born and raised in Quincy, Elaine also lived in Weymouth. She spent her winters in Springhill, FL. Elaine worked in Accounts Receivable for New England Telephone., and she also belonged to the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Beloved daughter of the late Salvatore Tropea and Jennie Caporale; loving sister of the late Louise M. Tropea, the late Marion Marani, the late Francis Tropea, and the late John “Tubba” Tropea; dear aunt of Terri Kominsky and her husband Carl of Tuscon, AZ, John S. Marani and his wife Linda of Halifax, Joseph F. Marani and his wife Mary of Hanover; cousin of Louise “Caporale” Marshall; Elaine is also survived by 8 grand nieces and nephews and 15 great grand nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Monday, October 18th at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Parish. Burial will follow at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy.
