Elinor J. “Elie” Leary of Quincy passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at age 85. Born and raised in Quincy she was a member of the reunion committee for Quincy High School Class of 1948. Elie began her long career at Dunkin Donuts’ original location in Quincy, MA. Travelling extensively to open many of their franchise shops, she then worked at their Corporate Headquarters until her retirement. Daughter of the late Arthur E. and Helen A. (Knight) Leary, Elie was the loving sister of Alice Leary Driscoll and her husband Roland of Braintree, Margaret Leary Bergeron and her husband R. Roger of Pocassett and the late Arthur E. Leary, Jr. The Aunt of 18 nieces and nephews, 32 grand-nieces and nephews and 7 great-grand nieces and nephews, she is also survived by an extended family and many wonderful and loving friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 22 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM at St. Agatha’s Church 432 Adams St., Milton. Burial will be private.
