I just found out about Elie's passing. I spoke to her not that long ago. Elie and my mom, Marina Reynolds, were lifelong friends and we loved her like she was part of our family. Since I moved to Georgia I spoke to her a couple of times. I always wanted to stay in touch with my mom's friends. Elie was such a sweet person. Heaven definitely got a new angel with her passing, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

I remember growing up in the forties. Artie would come across the street almost every day to say 'hello'. You could tell he was a happy kid. So I knew he was well cared for by Elie and all of you. I will remember her at Mass on Monday at nine o'clock in Marshfield. Blessings to all of you. - Father Jack Schatzel
