Ellen A. (Morris) Gilboy of Quincy passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at age 72. Born in Quincy where she was raised and educated, she lived here most of her life. Before retiring Ellen worked as a mortgage specialist at several mortgage companies on the South Shore. The daughter of the late Lloyd and Catherine (Reimer) Morris, she was the beloved mother of Tracy L. Acciola of CT and Cindy M. Gomes of Abington, dear grandmother of Haley Catherine, Alexis Mikayla and Kelsey Ann; loving sister of the late Ronnie Morris; former wife of the late George Gilboy; former mother-in-law of Michael Acciola of VA and Scott Gomes of FL; and is also survived by her special friend, John Baynes.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, March 17 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Cremation will follow.
