Emmett J. Cullen of Quincy passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at age 92. Originally from Medford, he lived in Quincy for 58 years. A WWII veteran, US Maine Corps, he was a self-employed painter and wallpaper hanger. The beloved husband of the late Una R. (Richard) Cullen, Emmett was the beloved father of Michael A. Cullen of Quincy, Mary “Tish” Patricia Morris and her husband John of Saugus, Christopher C. Cullen of Quincy, Sheila M. Koser and her husband Charles of Mashpee, Maureen L. Cullen of Quincy, Rosemary A. Cullen of Weymouth and Margaret M. Chiasson and her husband Jack of Quincy; dear grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, Brian, Cara, Richard, Daniel, Joseph, Elizabeth, William and Karla; brother of John C. Cullen of Hartford, CT; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Monday, May 7th from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Tuesday, there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament 1015 Sea St. Quincy. Burial with Military Honors is at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
