Obituaries

Eunice M. (Parady) Conley of Quincy passed away on June 1, 2019 at age 101. Born in Rockport, where she was raised and educated, she lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Quincy in 1997. The oldest living graduate of the Massachusetts Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, she trained as a registered nurse. Eunice worked for many years at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Dorchester before retiring in 1980. She was a member of the 60+ Club at St. Marks Church, the K Club and was on a senior bowling team at Boston Bowl, but her favorite activity was watching her beloved Boston Red Sox.

The beloved wife of the late John T. Murray, Sr. and the late Joseph B. Conley and longtime companion of the late Bud MacDonald, Eunice was the loving mother of John T. “Jack” Murray, Jr. of Nashua, NH, Bonnie Bergdoll of Quincy and the late Leonard P. Murray and Gail P. Murray; mother-in-law of Barbara Murray of Nashua and Suzanne Murray of Peabody, sister of the late J. Eugene Parady and Roger J. Parady; and is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
