Frances D. (Stefanik) Britt Mulligan of Quincy passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at age 90. Born in Uniontown PA where she was raised and educated, she lived in Quincy since 1948 and worked as a waitress and hostess at various South Shore restaurants.
The beloved wife of the Gerard P. Britt and the late John F. Mulligan, Jr., QPD Ret., Fran was the loving mother of Gerard D. Britt, MSP Ret., of Quincy, Thomas E. Britt of Quincy and Richard D. Britt of Naples, FL, dear grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 9.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 11 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Wednesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery.
