Obituaries

Frank J. “Pupu” Caporale of Quincy passed away at the home of his son on Friday, January 27, 2012 at age 84. Born in Revere where he was raised and educated, he lived in Quincy most of his life. A US Army veteran of WWII, Frank worked for the City of Quincy for 20 years before retiring. The beloved husband of the late Claire E. (Meade) Caporale,he was the loving father of Francis J. Caporale of Marlborough, dear grandfather of Andrew Caporale of Hingham, Timothy McCarthy of Quincy, Billie McCarthy of Stoughton and Melissa Pearson of Beverly and brother of the late Joseph Caporale.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 1 from 4:00 to8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Ann’s Church 757 Hancock St. Wollaston. Burial with Military Honors will be at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
