Gloria E. (Howe) Rose passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at age 91. Born in Brockton on September 21, 1923, She lived her life in Quincy, Hingham and Dennisport then later in Braintree and Hanover.

She and her husband, Russell operated Twin City Laundry and Dry Cleaning for many years.

Gloria was the beloved wife of the late H. Russell Rose; loving mother of Douglas R. Rose and his wife, Janet of Framingham; step-mother of Jacqueline Wright Gallivan of Weymouth and the late Barbara Walters; dear grandmother of Jessica, Ryan and his wife Jessica, and Laurie; great-grandmother of Makenna, Blake and Casey. She was also the sister of the late John Howe and wife, Mildred, Richard Howe and wife Nellie and Geraldine and husband Phillip Wall. She is also survived by her loving nieces, Sandy and her husband Mike Delahunt, Merry and Valerie and her loving nephew, Phillip and many grand nieces and nephews.

A visiting hour will be held on Tuesday, February 17 starting at 10:00AM immediately followed at 11:00AM by a Funeral Service at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. Cremation will follow.
