Helen (Pelevanow) Caparell of Quincy passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at age 85. A homemaker, she was born, raised and educated in Boston and lived in Quincy for over 50 years. The beloved wife of the late Nicholas S. Caparell, Helen was the loving mother of Michael S. Caparell and James N. Caparell, both of Quincy and Stephanie Brown and her late husband William of Peabody and dear Nana of Ashley Caparell of Raynham, Taylor Pinheiro and her husband Jason of Raynham and Christina Brown of Peabody. She was the beloved sister of Sophie Bremis and her husband James of Belmont and Georgia Griffin of W. Roxbury and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 13 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 10:00AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church 119 Common St. Braintree. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery.
