To all Henry's Family and Friends Henry was a wonderful person and so upbeat and positive he will be missed terribly. He was always upbeat and had much to say about life and loved doing cross word puzzles with his good friend Luella and walking the beach and biking with her. He leaves a lot of stories and I am sure everyone will be telling Henry stories for years to come. God Bless and Farewell Henry

So sorry to hear about Henry's passing. I saw him last year at a Past President's luncheon for the MAAO. I was President until the end of June and now Immediate Past President. What a nice guy Henry was. Please accept my sincere condolences.

IN MEMORY OF A DEAR FRIEND AND MENTOR. WHEN I DIDN'T HEAR FROM HENRY THIS SPRING I WONDERED IF HE WAS "OK". YESTERDAY, I GOT A NOTE FROM A MUTUAL FRIEND WITH THE PATRIOT LEDGER OBITUARY. HENRY WILL BE MISSED BY SO MANY. REST EASY, DEAR FRIEND. GORDON DERMAN

Henry was genuine, gentle and generous. I loved the energy he brought to our Friday evening dinners and will miss him. I am thankful for the time I knew him. May God bless him forever.

To the Bertolon Family, please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. Henry was a kind and thoughtful man. He was one of the strongest supporters and advocates of property tax assessment professionalism through education. He tirelessly encouraged hundreds of assessors, probably thousands, to pursue the educational goals of the Massachusetts Association of Assessing Officers. His legacy of leadership will be remembered in many assessing jurisdictions in and around the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. May he rest in peace.

You are already greatly missed Henry. I think of you daily and wish strength to your family and Luella. You were so proud of your children and always talking about them. Hopefully everyone will find comfort in all the great memories that you left with them. Forever in my prayers and thoughts. Love, Julie

We were so saddened to learn of the loss of your father, Henry; your father-in-law, Donna; and your grandfather, Jennifer, Alyssa and John. What an amazing life he led! From owning his own business to furthering his education, to changing careers and attaining the presidency of the MAA, his life was truly remarkable. How fortunate for his children and grandchildren to have had such an incredible role model. Certainly he will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. We will remember all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart goes out to Henry's children and grandchildren and most especially to Luella, without who I would have never met such a lovely man. Every time I saw him, he always had a big smile and I will never forget how wonderful he was to my family when my father passed away. He will be dearly missed.

We will miss Henry. He was a true friend and our times together both at Christ Lutheran Church-Scituate and after retirement will always be treasures for us. He was a most giving and inspiring person and one of those whom one can say...We will truly miss him. He was one of the vanishing breed of having a strong John Wayne personality and the softest heart you could know. His faith was strong and he wore it well as he lived in this world. Words...yes...but also actions which came right from the heart from someone who had this great trust in the Lord who inspired him on. Henry, we will miss you...rest in peace...you inspired us all.
