Obituaries

Herman H. Lunde of Quincy passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at age 83. Raised and educated in Quincy, he was a graduate of Quincy Trade School and Northeastern University where he received his AS in Engineering. He lived in towns on the South Shore and worked as a mechanical engineer at the Carlson Co. before retiring. The beloved husband of the late Virginia M. (Corea) Lunde, Herman was the loving father of Christopher Lunde and his wife Rebecca of Weymouth, Stephen H. Lunde of Attleboro and Nancy M. Ogilvie of Branford, CT; dear grandfather of Christen Comer, Stephen J. Lunde and Carlissa R. Ogilvie; great-grandfather of Oisin Comer; brother of the late Frederick Bellwood and Victoria Maxwell; and is also survived by his sister-in-law, Virginia Bellwood of Braintree and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 7 at 10:00AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. Following the service there will be a reception at the Venetian Restaurant 909 Broad St. E. Weymouth.
