Hilda J. (Weber) Morrison of Watertown passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at age 79. Born in Kentucky, she was raised and educated in Louisville and lived in Tampa, FL and Newport, VT before moving to Watertown 10 years ago. Before retiring she worked as a registered nurse at Mass General Hospital.
The beloved wife of the late Donald L. Morrison, Hilda was the loving mother of Donna J. Morrison of Milton, Michael S. Morrison and his wife Peggy of Tampa, FL and Laura L. Morrison and her husband Richard Pels of Newton; dear grandmother of Zoe and Bob, Caleb and Sophie Pels, Anna and Brian Cohen and Sarah Horowitz and great grandmother of Connor and Molly.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 13 from 2:00 to 6:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 10:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am at Christ Church Episcopal 12 Quincy Ave. Quincy.
Donations in Hilda’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
