Jesse grew up in the Town of New Bedford and Fairhaven, MA. In his younger years he worked at Genes Seafood where he made many lifelong friends that became his second family known as Squeeze Alley. This is where his Love for Motorcycles began. He enjoyed his trips to Larconia to do bike runs and gatherings.

In 1976, he met his first wife and love, Susan (Lapierre) Burgess (Tony) and started his Family. Family was his world and meant everything to him. At this time, he worked 30 years at The College of The Holy Cross and worked his way up from General Maintenance to Manager of Maintenance.

In 1999, he joined the ranks of his Grandfather and Father as a Member of the Blessed Sacrament and SS Sacramental Club.

In 1999 he met his Second and Final Love of Life, Sylvia (Boulanger) Baptista. Married in October 2002. Jesse “Blue Eyes” and Sylvia “Saffy” raised their Fur Baby, Daisy together. Bought their Home together and created and shared countless memories.

Jesse had a love for photography and videographing. Loved all sports, especially Darts. Loved to play cards, especially Friday Night with the Guys in his Mancave.

Jesse will leave his mark on this world in many ways, but the most memorable ways will be his contagious laugh, love for family, and love for being the biggest jokester.
